Newspapers in Schools?

The Sun publisher has been talking lately about the expense of supplying newspapers to schools. Several teachers have written letters to the editors to ask that the service not be discontinued. Old Word Wolf says these newspapers aren't a particularly good example of writing or reporting, so what's the fuss? It's scary to think teachers are using the composition standards employed at Sun Coast Media Group as anything but negative examples.

  1. Oh no. I sincerely hope that teachers aren't actually telling students that the Sun is a real newspaper because it's not even close!
